Grass RootsGrass Roots, Rob Grill, the former lead singer and bassist for rock group The Grass Roots, died Monday, July 11 at a hospice near Orlando, Florida, as reports from CBS, which had allegedly been in a coma after a recent fall had been suffering from health problems earlier, including stroke. He was 67.

He grew up in Hollywood, California’s career in music began grill when he began working in a studio with his friends Cory Wells and John Kay, who would become Three Dog Night and Steppenwolf, respectively. Grill then joined to the base, a band was the brainchild of songwriting and producing team PF Sloan and Steve Barri. Along with stars Bratton ‘Office’ Creed future, Grill and the band had their first Top 10 hit in 1967 with ‘Let’s Live for Today “.

The following year, the band had their greatest success with “Midnight Confessions,” a song that appears horn-infused Grill co-lead vocalist and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The successes kept coming, and even 1975, the band had 29 singles reach the charts, of which 13 were gold.

According to the call in the morning, Grill had been in “Happy Together Tour,” which includes acts such as turtles and Paul Revere and the Raiders, a few weeks ago.
