Praying Mantis Kung FuPraying Mantis Kung Fu, There are two styles of Praying Mantis Kung Fu:

Northern Praying Mantis (martial art), a self-defense technique from the northeast Chinese province of Shandong.
Southern Praying Mantis (martial art), a self-defense technique from southwest China created by the Hakka people.
The Praying Mantis Kung Fu Academy is a martial arts school based in Sydney NSW Australia and offers classes in traditional Northern Praying Mantis (tang lang quan), competition Wushu, WuDang Tai Chi, traditional Chinese weapons and advanced techniques such as Shaolin, Chin Na and Iron Palm techniques.

Shifu Daniel Wang Yun Kuo
Our master is Shifu Wang, a descendant of the famous Wang family of Shandong province in China. Shifu Wang began learning KungFu at the age of 6 years. His first kung fu teachers were Grand Master Wang Ye Ping, Grand Master Fan Shu Lung and Grand Master Qing Dejin. Shifu Wang has spent most of his life studying and teaching martial arts. He was a Senior Instructor for the Chinese Army for 10 years and specialised in training body guards for the Chinese Army. He is a able to teach both forms as well as the application of techniques in self defence. Shifu Wang is also a qualified Doctor of Chinese medicine.
