Patrice O'Neal Charlie Sheen RoastPatrice O’Neal Charlie Sheen Roast, Charlie Sheen is sending good wishes for comedian Patrice O’Neal, who remains hospitalized after suffering a stroke last week.
Sheen told TMZ that he expects “nothing but the recovery” of O’Neal, who was one of the grill the actor in the comedy central special last month.

O’Neal “is a gentle giant, a brilliant comedian and a noble kind,” he said. “We wish nothing but the recovery, healing and laughter.”

The announcement on stroke O’Neal was made on Wednesday by fellow comedians Jim Norton, Colin Quinn, Robert Kelly, Rich Vos and Keith Robinson on the Opie & Anthony radio show, in which O’Neal has made numerous appearances.

“We are all here to let people know that one of our friends very, very well became ill, fell ill … Patrice O’Neal had a stroke,” Kelly told the audience.

O’Neal’s status is unclear, said Norton.

“We know what it is too early to tell,” he said. “Anyone who knows of hits, takes time, sometimes just do not know. We do not know how it will be.”

Meanwhile, Opie & Anthony show posted a statement on its Facebook page.

“Our good friend Patrice O’Neal suffered a stroke last week,” he said. “Please respect his family and his request for privacy. An email has been created for fans to send him good wishes and your family will ensure that everybody gets them.

The news was kept secret at the request of the O’Neal family, but decided to go public after the word began to spread among fellow comedians O’Neal.

O’Neal was not just a toaster in the case of Sheen, but also the target of several jokes about their health problems, including diabetes and weight.

Amy Schumer joked that “Patrice has always been destined for stardom, and diabetes. So tonight is not only the meat of Charlie Sheen, is also a farewell party for Patrice’s foot.”

Sheen joked: “The only thing slower than the delivery [Anthony Jeselnik] is the metabolism of Patrice O’Neal When I first saw Patrice in this scenario, I thought the same thing we all did:. Why is the mother Mike Tyson is here? ”

O’Neal is defended in the event, saying, “How the f — I can be too much to say after all this shit I can not believe I’m dying of diabetes and bastards are like, ‘Oh. That fat fucking evil. ”

O’Neal has also appeared on NBC’s The Office and weekly countdown show video viral VH1 Web Junk 20.
