Jacee Badeaux, American Idol Audition night, has found the next American Idol Justin Bieber? Or, at least, his youngest finalist in history? Viewers were introduced to Badeaux Jace last night, 15 years a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. While Jennifer Lopez vanished how this candidate has been “So sweet and SOOOO CUUUUUTE,” we were just impressed by her voice.

Belts to an interpretation of Otis Redding “(Sittin ‘On) The Dock of the Bay,” Badeaux was encouraged by the panel really let go during his hearing. Suffice it to say, the guy had no difficulty in winning a Golden Ticket … Jace used to live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but now lives in Lafayette. He is a sophomore at the Academy of Performing Arts High School in Lafayette. As you might guess, he does a little singing. It was one of 20 tenors first named to the Louisiana All-State Choir mixed in 2009. He also sang in the youth choir at First Baptist Lafayette Christmas Fantasia last year.

In July, he won the Baton Rouge Fox44 Idol contest, Fox44 and gave him a stopper after the show Thursday.

In his interview on the website of American Idol, Jace said he began singing at age 3 at the request of his parents and realized it was good when people began to compliment him. He also plays piano and can make sounds weird chipmunk. He says his favorite artist of all time is Rascal Flatts: “I have the same kind of voice (the singer Gary Levox), I think, and he is really famous.”
