PAGASAPAGASA, Tropical depression “Goering” came out of Philippine territory by noon on Sunday, but still the threat of heavy rains that cause flash floods and landslides in some parts of the country.

In its 11 am advisory, the Philippine Services Administration Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services (PAGASA), said Goering, is moving west-northwest at 10 kph.

After 10 hours, said Goering was 460 km north of Basco, Batanes, with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center.

On the morning of Monday that is expected to be 600 km north-northwest of Basco, Batanes or 170 km northwest of Taipei, Taiwan.

“However, Goring continue to enhance the southwest monsoon will bring occasional rains in Luzon and Visayas increasingly common in the western section, which can cause flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.

Meanwhile, PAGASA said different low-pressure area (LPA) east of Mindanao has dissipated, but a radio report said dzBB Glen Game rains are still likely until Tuesday or Wednesday
