Packers Falcons

Packers FalconsPackers Falcons, The many successes of Wisconsin sports teams have been delivering to its fans happy in 2011 come with a price tag attached.

They were beaten regularly or deprive them of a prize to be thinking of you and suddenly you become the villain, the enemy, the team you love to hate.

In Wisconsin, we have seen enough evidence that in recent weeks. Like the St. Louis Cardinals have come to despise the Milwaukee Brewers (and even more after Sunday’s victory in Game 1 of the NLCS National League), the Falcons have come to dislike the Green Bay Packers.

Flesh of the Falcons with the Green Bay Packers began when eliminated in the NFC playoffs last season, humiliating seeded in Atlanta by 27 points at home. And while the Packers won the Super Bowl, Falcons receiver Roddy White said later that Atlanta was still the best team.

The Packers usually dismiss such talk, but White’s comment was properly by coach Mike McCarthy, quarterback Aaron Rodgers and defensive linemen Ryan Pickett and BJ Raji. Each of them alluded to in interviews last week, which is not standard operating procedure Lombardi Avenue.

However, the Packers knew they were entering their most difficult challenge of the season when they met the Falcons on Sunday night in the Georgia Dome. We understand well that the Falcons – and bustling crowd inside – had checked this on their calendars long ago.

But there was more for the Packers to worry about the Falcons Sunday angry and hostile to their fans. After a disappointing 2-2 start, the Falcons were already desperate. They also had the perfect run-pass ratio on the offensive to try to defend the struggling Packers. Finally, Green Bay developed a crisis at offensive tackle Chad Clifton after he went down with a hamstring injury on their second possession.

As daunting as it seems that everyone, the Packers came out and showed that the feelings of their opponents so that they really do not matter when you’re good, you’re good. Recovering from a 14-0 deficit to post a 25-14 victory over Atlanta, the lips compressed the Falcons for good and delivered yet another amazing success for a state that is mostly roll history.

It took another MVP type performance of Rodgers and excellent recovery in the valiant defense game, but the Packers moved to 5-0 and solidified its position as the team to beat this season.

For a team that had a season best 13-3 NFC the last record, and added a much needed receiver depth in the July rookie Jones, Atlanta had not played well in their first four games. The Falcons had become too focused on running and secondary flight had been exposed by opponents.

However, Green Bay know how little that matters the impulse and how quickly things can change. The Packers’ season does not really light the last year to beat the Falcons to the playoffs.

The Falcons started the game very quickly, almost as if they were good, crazy or something. But the excitement does not last a football game. After the first works, no animosity has been released and that is football, as usual.

However, Atlanta bolted to a 14-0 lead on two time-consuming units driven by the performance of running back Michael Turner chunky and rather strong on third down passes by quarterback Matt Ryan. But despite the Packers defense was behind, he was able to dig into that later, closing the race and off the field on third down.

In fact, what looked like a poor game plan defensive coordinator Dom Capers became a showcase for their ability to adapt on the fly. The Packers kept the Falcons on the board the rest of the way, a defensive performance marked by the impressive safety intercept a pass Charlie Peprah in the future Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez.

The Packers lost 14-6 in the middle and we were lucky to be so close. On the other hand, could have been 14-14 had not made some uncharacteristic errors in the red zone that led to field goals instead of touchdowns. In the series of the first Packers, Rodgers was sacked twice in succession. In the next series, a holding penalty on guard Josh Sitton nullified a first down at the 2 and tight end Jermichael Finley dropped a pass in the end zone on the next play.

However, if the intensity of the Falcons and their own ineptitude is behind the Packers 14, did not last long. They left in the second half and dominated the Falcons in every way.

After his own 4-0 start that had some people questioning whether they had a championship defense, the Packers made an emphatic statement to put the Falcons in place. They have already beaten three teams – New Orleans, Chicago and Atlanta – that made the playoffs last year, two of them on the road.

If that does not continue to irritate the opposition, nothing will.
