Rhode Island Columbus Day Parade
Federal Hill Columbus Day Parade on Atwells AVENUE in Providence, Rhode Island took place yesterday in “Little Italy” with a line of Italian-American groups and politicians. According to the Journal Providence, Providence Mayor David N. Cicilline, Angel Taveras, and Vincent A. Usps Holidays, U.S. Postal Service reminds people with family members serving overseas that is not too early to start thinking about holiday cards, letters and packages, as the first deadline for the 2010 season Vacation is just around the corner.

“The U.S. Postal Service is encouraging the use of these early deadlines to ensure that packages arrive in time for the holidays,” USPS spokesman Kim Yates said in a statement released Tuesday.

USPS place all Air / Army Post Office (APO) and Fleet Post Office (FPO) zip-coded mail on special charter flights, commercial airlines and military aircraft to join the armed service personnel as quickly as possible.

All military mail, regardless of destination, is sent by domestic mail rate. International fares do not apply to military mail delivery.
