November 10

A quiet and warm Tuesday ahead but there are changes on the horizon. For today, temperatures will be a bit above normal and we will have mostly sunny skies. In all, a quiet day in terms of the weather.

For Wednesday the weather will be perfect for those with the day off to attend one of the many Veterans Day events and ceremonies across town. Temperatures will be more than 10 degrees above normal with highs reaching around 68 degrees. Partly sunny skies will prevail overhead. Thursday the warming continues as the high temperature approaches 70 but that will be the last day of those kinds of temperatures for a little while.

Thursday night through Sunday a series of troughs moves through that will bring a return to cooler temperatures and potentially some precipitation. The first that arrives Thursday night and last through Friday is short lived but will drop temperatures to the mid 40’s and introduce a slight chance of rain and snow into the forecast. A stronger system moves in Saturday and lasts through Sunday and that too will serve to hold temperatures down and bring a chance of precipitation.
