Nokia Lumia 900

Nokia Lumia 900, Both are great smartphones and both are being loved by all and sundry. Samsung Galaxy Note and Nokia Lumia 900 are among the best smart phones available in the market and PC Mag has called the Nokia Lumia 900 as the best smartphone available on the AT&T network.

Samsung Galaxy Note on the other hand is another great smartphone that was introduced in the market a few months ago by the South Korean tech giant. It is the biggest smartphone with the best specs available in the market. To be true, this prompted many to call the smartphone as phablet (phone + tablet).

Meanwhile Nokia Lumia 900 is hogging the limelight due to its best specs and its very interesting operating system. A very excited reader has this to say, “I can’t wait for this phone. My Iphone 3GS gets crappy call quality, so to have the 4G service will be very nice. I love the price, and with the 25bg on skydrive I think 16gb will be fine. I did see a portable bluetooth wifi drive (16/32gb models) also from Kingston, when it comes in WP7 version that would be perfect.

I like the Iphone, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t see why I should pay $400 dollars every time they upgrade. The 900 looks fantastic, its freakishly fast (go to the MS store and play with the Lumia 800, you will see) and if its that fast with a single core why does it need dual? I wish it had larger memory, or was Micro/SD card compatible, but still I am excited that its finally coming out”.

Both the smart phones compete well on many points. But both come with different form factor. The Galaxy Note comes with a very large (to be true largest display) 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 800×1280 pixels at 285 ppi. When it comes to size, there doesn’t seem to be any rival for the Note in the 5-inch category. The Lumia 900, in the meantime, has 4.3-inch display different from its lower end sibling Lumia 800’s 3.7-inch display. The 900’s AMOLED capacitive touchscreen has a resolution of 480×800 pixels at 217 ppi. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass and it is made of Nokia’s ClearBlack display technology.
