State Of Emergency New Jersey, This week end a series of snow storms started, all major cities of country facing the problems of road and air ways, People are facing problems in holidays with this. Recently A major snowstorm hit the New York area on Sunday, bringing to a standstill Travel thunder and lightning and the same cause in the snow.

Airport New York JFK and Newark Liberty International Airport were even forced to close. JFK was not expected to reopen at 5 am Monday. Newark airport would remain closed until 10 o’clock; it might not have mattered if the airport remained open since airlines canceled more than 1,400 flights at three major area airports.

Acting Governor of New Jersey declared a state of emergency Sunday night. State Senate President Steve Sweeney is filling while the Governor Chris Christie and Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno are out of state. The city of Elizabeth, Union County, had seen more than 11 inches of snow by 18 pm on Sunday. NJ Transit, the state system of public transport stopped bus service statewide after 6:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service forecast more than 18 inches of snow in New York City. Areas north and west were expected to get more than 20 inches of snow from the storm. The snow was falling at a rate of 2-3 inches per hour as bands of heavy snow down on the area after sundown Sunday night. Wind gusts up to 50 km / h were reported in the region.

New Jersey police said nearly 100 accidents on the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike. Speed limits were dropped to as low as 35 mph on stretches of toll roads. Amtrak canceled all train service between New York and Boston at least until Monday morning, leaving people to sleep on their luggage at New York Penn Station. New York, Long Island Rail Road has also suspended the Service to Pennsylvania Station and the Atlantic Terminal on Sunday night because of the massive winter storm. Subway system in New York was left running with some delay related to weather.
