Lil Kim Minaj, Lil’ Kim was not impressed with Nicki Minaj’s much-maligned performance at the 54th annual Grammy Awards.  “I don’t know what that was,” said Lil’ Kim last night, while a guest on the Bravo talk show “Watch What Happens Live.”

Minaj’s performance, which featured an exorcism of her alter ego “Roman Zolanski,” as well as dirty dancing priests and choir boys, left many people scratching their heads. The Catholic League went as far as to call the performance “vulgar.” Lil’ Kim seemed to take a little pleasure in the public outcry over her rival’s appearance. Nicki Minaj has defended her Grammys performance.  “I’m pretty sure I feel the same way everybody else feels right about now,” she said.

While she spoke with restraint about Minaj’s Grammys performance, Lil’ Kim wasn’t so kind when it came to Minaj’s new single.

Lil’ Kim said, “If you have to make a song called ‘Stupid Hoe,’ you must be a stupid hoe.”

Lil’ Kim has feuded with Minaj ever since she appeared on the hip hop scene in advance of her hit album “Pink Friday.” It’s unclear what is at the root of the women’s beef.

But Lil’ Kim isn’t the only one to have negative things to say about Minaj’s Grammys showing. Grammys Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich appeared to distance himself from Minaj on Monday when he said, “One thing that is always very important to us is that we don’t like to restrict artists’ creative freedom. She came to us with that idea … I didn’t say ‘great.’ I looked at it and said ‘OK’ … I definitely had some questions about that one.”

Minaj, however, defended the concept yesterday while appearing at an event for MAC cosmetics.

“I don’t know what is the big issue?” said Minaj. “You know how people write plays and movies? That’s what I did. I wrote that and I gave the world a tiny little preview of what was to come.”
