NFL Scores Week 7NFL Scores Week 7, No matter if it was Kyle Boller and Carson Palmer of the Raiders, the Kansas City Chiefs secondary intercepted three times each on the way to a 28-0 shutout of the Oakland Raiders.

Oakland Raiders broke their eight-game winning streak with AFC West down to the Kansas City Chiefs,. The defense chiefs took advantage of the Raiders quarterback Kyle Boller, who was making the start for the injured Jason Campbell. Boller was intercepted by the defense of the Chiefs on three separate occasions resulting in the bench press, shortly after midnight.

Recently acquired quarterback Carson Palmer entered the game in the second half of the bench, but was so ineffective as Boller. That was expected, considering that’s been sitting most of the season so far, trying to be changed in Cincinnati. Like Boller, Palmer was also picked off three different times. Despite being ineffective in the passing game, the Raiders went to run the ball, even after Darren McFadden was knocked out of the early game. Michael Bush had 99 yards rushing on just 17 carries. Ultimately, however, turnovers killed any chance the Raiders had.

The defense chiefs said the Raiders to pay for turnovers, returning two of them for long touchdowns. Kendrick Lewis Flores and Brandon both returned interceptions 50 yards for a touchdown. Offensively, the Chiefs were not really that good, but still were able to score 28 points thanks to the results on the defensive.

Quarterback Matt Cassel struggled throwing the ball, completing only 50% of his passes and threw two interceptions. Jackie Battle led the team in rushing and carriers, but the cornerback Javier Arenas received the call at the RedZone to run the wildcat. Arenas hit the ball from 7 yards and the score to put the Chiefs up 21-0 early in the third quarter. McClain La’Ron fullback also scored in race finish line.

It was a difficult game for the Raiders quarterback, who was about what was expected. Not much you can do though when you turn the ball over six times and converted just four third downs.
