NFL INJURY REPORT, Suffering their first defeat, the Green Bay Packers find the right time to face the Detroit Lions winless. And their work can be acquired easier than accumulating injuries for Lions. The Lions will be without starting quarterback Matthew Stafford, but could also be without running back Jahvid Best. He suffered a toe injury and is doubtful for Sunday. For the Packers, cornerback Charles Woodson was limited in practice. If Best cannot start, most of the work will fall on Kevin Smith and Maurice Morris.

New York Jets at Buffalo: Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis remains sidelined with a thigh injury. Linebacker Jason Taylor was limited in practice. For the Bills, defensive lineman Marcus Stroud (ankle) and linebacker Andra Davis (shoulder) did not participate in practice. Linebacker Paul Poslusnzny returned to practice and is expected to play.

Cincinnati at Cleveland: Bengals running back Cedric Benson (knee) did not practice. Quarterback Jake Delhomme Browns returned to practice Thursday and may start Sunday. Browns receiver Joshua Dribbs (ankle) was limited in practice but is expected to play.

Baltimore at Pittsburgh: Ravens running back Ray Rice (knee) did not practice Wednesday, but he told reporters he expects to play. Tight end Todd Heap (shoulder) is probable for Sunday. The Steeles have both Leftwich Byron and Charlie Batch available to the quarterback with the batch scheduled for departure.

Denver at Tennessee: Broncos safety Brian Dawkins (ankle) did not practice.

San Francisco, Atlanta Falcons receiver Michael Jenkins (shoulder) was limited in practice, but coach Mike Smith said he hopes it becomes available. Niner’s linebacker Takeo Spikes did not practice.

Carolina at New Orleans: The Saints have good news when an MRI on Drew Brees left knee came back fine. He faced the pain. Running back Pierre Thomas (ankle) did not practice and is questionable. Panther’s offensive tackle Jeff Otaha cons came out.

Seattle at St. Louis: Seahawks Mike Williams (shoulder) was limited in practice but is expected to play. Rams running back Steven Jackson (groin) had an MRI and the injury is just a sprain. He did not practice and is doubtful for Sunday.

Indianapolis at Jacksonville: Colts receiver Anthony Gonzalez (high ankle sprain) is out this week, while the receiver Pierre Garcon (hamstring) did not practice and is questionable for Sunday.

Houston at Oakland: Texans receiver Andre Johnson did not practice but did some running and he said he would prepare as if he will play. Texans coach Gary Kubiak was reported as saying there will be a game-time decision. Safety Eugene Wilson was released this week. Raiders guard Robert Gallery did not practice. Running back Michael Bush (thumb) returned to practice.

Washington at Philadelphia: Washington running back Clinton Portis (wrist) returned to full training. Albert Haynesworth (thumb) also practiced. Eagles tight end Brent Celek underwent a wrist injury, but coach Andy Reid said in a report that he expects him to play.

Arizona at San Diego: Cardinals receiver Steve Breaston has been reported that this week, but coach Ken Whisenhunt told the Arizona Republic, it would not exclude him. Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman (calf) left the game last week but did not practice. He told the San Diego Union-Tribune, he is optimistic ehe will play this week.

Chicago to New York Giants: Bears safety Chris Harris (neck) was limited in practice, the receiver Mario Manningham is questionable Giants this week after suffering a concussion last week.

New England at Miami: Patriots running back Fred Taylor suffered a toe injury and did not practice Wednesday. Dolphin’s linebacker Channing Crowder has been with a groin injury, but may test this week, the Palm Beach Post reports, to see if he can play.
