Nfl Power RankingsNfl Power Rankings, After five weeks of football frenzy, Green Bay is at the top, but Andy and Ryan try to figure out the rest out.

NFL Power Rankings Week Six

. 32) Indianapolis Colts (0-5): Is it too soon to start thinking about next year’s draft? -AD

. 31) Miami Dolphins (0-4): No hope in Miami. The bye week may be the biggest “win” for the dolphins throughout the year. -RT

. 30) Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4): Jacksonville did not deserve a win on his record. They are so terrible. -AD

. 29) Arizona Cardinals (1-4): You know it’s bad when it is in third place in the NFC West. -AD

. 28) Denver Broncos (1-4): Tebow IS TIME! -RT

. 27) Minnesota Vikings (1-4): Minnesota is realizing that if they win, they have to give thirty plays Adrian Peterson a game. -RT

. 26) Kansas City Chiefs (2-3): The Chiefs are finally starting to win games, and are now in a bye week. Mounting. -AD

. 25) Seattle Seahawks (2-3): big win for them against the Giants, and Tarvaris Jackson gets another week to recover from his injury. -AD

. 24) St. Louis Rams (0-4): The Rams are coming off a bye week, but unfortunately for them have to face the Green Bay Packers. Can you say 0-5? -RT

. 23) Chicago Bears (2-3): Unless the Bears change divisions at midseason, will be abroad in search of the year. -RT

22) Carolina Panthers (1-4):. After the defeat last week’s Cam Newton said: “There’s a reason we keep losing and I want to know why.”. You play for the Panthers, man. -AD

. 21) Philadelphia Eagles (1-4): It may take a bit of confidence this week if they beat the first team in the NFC East, the Washington Redskins. Something like that could refer to the Eagles as the ‘Dream Team’, if you really won games. -AD

. 20) Cleveland Browns (2-2): Peyton Hillis’s contract is all the talk in Cleveland. If you are not going to come back next year, you better start winning quickly. -RT

19) Cincinnati Bengals (3-2):. The Bengals have a better record of the Colts, Falcons, Jets, and Eagles. Just as we thought it would, right? -AD

18) Tennessee Titans (3-2):. Tennessee has one of the “best in the NFL offices,” but it ranked dead last in rushing. Despite all that, still manage to be tied for first place in the AFC South. -AD

. 17) Dallas Cowboys (2-2): Coming off a bye week, the Cowboys will come out firing against New England. However, with Brady on the other side and Romo at quarterback, I have the feeling of another crisis in the fourth quarter. -RT

. 16) New York Jets (2-3): The Jets are proud of two things: talk trash and defense. Neither of those two were in New England and now travel to Miami in a game they must win. -RT

. 15) Atlanta Falcons (2-3): Your attack and defense has been inconsistent in the first five games and his record shows it. I still think they will get over the hump and compete for the Super Bowl. -RT

. 14) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2): The Bucs have not beaten a team with a winning record yet. This is starting to sound a lot like last year. -AD

. 13) New York Giants (3-2): Once again, inconsistency is the problem for the G-MEN. There is no reason to be losing to the Seahawks all, not to launch a selection of six to finish the game. -AD

. 12) Washington Redskins (3-1): The NFC East is at stake, and Rex Grossman is leading the chariot of the Redskins. Will this team reach the top or run off the cliff? -RT

11) Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2):. After looking sloppy in their last two games, the road is promising for the Steelers faced the Jaguars and Cardinals. -AD

10) San Francisco 49ers (4-1):. Once a bust, Alex Smith is becoming a reliable quarterback under the tutelage of Jim Harbaugh. A win against Detroit Smith shares rise, as well as possible this year to 49. -RT

. 9) Buffalo Bills (4-1): The Bills are ranked fourth in the league in rushing. Just let that sink and back to me next week after the Giants game. -AD

. 8) Oakland Raiders (3-2): Al Davis was an iconic figure, and the Raiders are running their number one request, “Just win, baby”. -RT

7) San Diego Chargers (4-1):. The Chargers escaped the wrath of Tebow, but not before its backfield has hits. The bye week allowed to return to full capacity. -RT

6) Houston Texans (3-2):. Losing Mario Williams is not the best news for Texans who are preparing to take the explosive Baltimore Ravens. -AD

5) Detroit Lions (5-0):. Lions are Boise State Broncos in the NFL. They are having a stellar season, but seriously, who have defeated? -RT

. 4) Baltimore Ravens (3-1): The calendar of events for the Ravens is a total joke. I see them going 11-5 with ease this season. -AD

. 3) New England Patriots (4-1): First in yards passing, sixth in rushing yards per game, and at least 30 points in every game this year. Can anyone stop this offense? -RT

2) New Orleans Saints (4-1):. With all the talk about the Packers, Lions and Eagles, the Saints have always been there for a game each week. So the media, where is the love? -RT

1.) Green Bay Packers (5-0): The Rams and Vikings stand between Green Bay and an 7-0 start. Too easy for the defending champions! -AD

Nfl Power Rankings

Nfl Power RankingsNfl Power Rankings, This is an updated version of the NFL Power Rankings as we prepare for Week 5. I will update every Tuesday throughout the season. Previous rankings in parentheses: 32. (30) Minnesota Vikings: I’ve always been a big supporter of Donovan McNabb. I think he has been unfairly criticized in recent years and I liked the way he always has managed to divert it was the grace and humility. But he has done. So the Vikings are 0-4. If they beat the Cardinals this week, however, a new team will adorn our end point in the Power Rankings. Guess Who?

31. (29) Indianapolis Colts: There is hope ahead of the Colts winning. Leaders arrive this week and then the Bengals. I do not lose any games, but man, did not see the Colts that bad, even without Peyton Manning.

30. (28) St. Louis Rams: I talked to one odds maker in Las Vegas for baseball history and in fact told me that the 0-4 Rams still your choice to win the NFC West. I asked if he was joking. He said likely those responsible never joke. I’m still laughing, though.

29. (27) Miami Dolphins: 0-4 is still my favorite team, but I lost all hope for the Dolphins. It’s time to make major changes in time. And oh, look, it’s the perfect time. It’s the bye week. Cue the funeral music.

28. (26) Denver Broncos: Fall two points this week and I’m sure my two favorite Broncos fans out there will not be so terribly annoying. They may feel bad after watching Denver this week to get beaten by the Chargers, though.

27. (32) Kansas City Chiefs: Another resident of the basement out of last place. The Chiefs finally collected his first victory by defeating the Vikings. You can make it two in a row, because until the next time they receive the Colts without a win. My God, it pains me to write even that.

26. (25) Seattle Seahawks: Seattle really caught my attention almost defeat the Falcons. They lost by two points, but Tarvaris Jackson is looking pretty good. He spent more than 300 yards and threw three touchdown passes. Too bad you have to face the Giants on the road this week. They will get torched.

25. (24) Jacksonville Jaguars: You have to have patience with rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert. Why the property shown as much patience with coach Jack Del Rio, however, is a different story. Lose this week at home against the Bengals just as bad. I think.

24. (31) Cincinnati Bengals: Remember last week when he said he could smell the victory for Cincinnati to come the bills? Well, I can smell another one coming this week against the Jaguars. But let us not fool. The Bengals are still a bad team. That just happened to be 2-2.

23. (23) Arizona Cardinals: Trust me, I would fall further than this, if they really thought they were worse than any of the teams that have ranked behind them. The Cardinals have been a big disappointment so far, largely because they can not finish games. That better be able to defeat the Vikings this week or it will fall much in Power Rankings next week.

22. (21) Carolina Panthers: They are 3.1 but must be happy that Cam Newton has shown most of their skeptics wrong, after four weeks. Personally, I hope he gets into a duel about the Saints Brees Drew this week. The ‘Saints secondary is good, but Newton must prove early and often.

21. (20) Cleveland Browns: The Browns must be satisfied after their first four games. They are 2-2 and are not too bad. But that means that only half as good. Enjoy the bye week, Cleveland.

20. (19) Oakland Raiders: You abused by the Patriots and I suspect more of the same will happen this week against the Texans. Accommodate this, however, see two of the game shiftier runners in Darren McFadden of Oakland and Houston Arian Foster.

19. (22) Chicago Bears: The Bears had no other offense, plus Matt Forte, but his 205 yards rushing were enough to beat Cam Newton and the Panthers. This week, however, bears have to play the Lions and they will need more to beat Detroit Forte on the road.

18. (15) Philadelphia Eagles: Another cost breakdown for the fourth quarter of the Eagles, this time with the 49ers. Ugh. The following are the surprising Buffalo Bills. The Eagles did not lose again, will you? Dream Team ear.

17. (18) Washington Redskins: I’m going to lose to the Rams in Week 4, but no, the Redskins proved me wrong again. Not this week – they do not play.

16. (17) San Francisco 49ers: I honestly never thought I’d have the 49ers placed above the Eagles, but here they are. Still do not think they are so good. But let’s talk after playing the Bucs, right?

15. (16) Atlanta Falcons: back to .500 after the issuance of the Seahawks, but this week they face the large Green Bay Packers. Atlanta does not need a win here to keep his dream alive for the playoffs, but it would help. This should be a great game.

14. (12) Dallas Cowboys: No one can hold off the Lions in the second half and paid the price. Now get a week off to think about it. Good for Tony Romo sore ribs, however.

13. (8) New York Jets: The Jets are suddenly struggling to find its identity. The arrogance is gone. If Rex Ryan will put his team back on track, you may need to try something on the wall. I think it will, too, because this week and the Jets have to play the Patriots. Do not miss this game.

12. (5) Pittsburgh Steelers: Well, well, well. The Steelers dropped seven points after the disaster of a loss to the Texans. Houston Pittsburgh almost gave the game but did not. The offensive line is a disaster, Big Ben has a sprained foot and James Harrison is a couple of weeks with a broken orbital bone. Oh!

11. (11) Buffalo Bills: I was so impressed with Buffalo’s first three wins I’m not going to be punished for losing to the Bengals, even though the Bengals are pretty bad. This week brings the Eagles in a game everyone wants to see.

10. (14) Tennessee Titans: Does anyone else see this coming? The Titans are 3-1 and face a reeling Steelers team this week in a game that suddenly think they can win. Bad news for Tennessee is the game is in Pittsburgh.

9. (13) Buccaneers: You can improve to 4-1 with a win this week against the 49ers. That can not be a problem. Along the way, however, this team finally get into trouble.

8. (10) New York Giants, Eli Manning did not get enough credit, but he showed why he won a Super Bowl again with a nice comeback against the Cardinals. What kind of get a pass this week, as they play the Seahawks visit. Relax, folks.

7. (9) Houston Texans: The Texans could have the best offensive line in the league. He helped plow the way for Arian Foster against the Steelers and the hamstring concern appears to be a thing of the past. The following are the Raiders and Houston should be buried at home.

6. (6) San Diego Chargers: These guys are just kind of sail under the radar to some extent, which is fine. I look forward to having that early in the season-usually they stumble and it has not happened yet. Could this week get to Denver? Maybe, but do not count on it.

5. (7) Detroit Lions: If you count the preseason, the Lions have won each of his last 12 games. Yes, they really are. And yes, Calvin Johnson is the best receiver in the NFL. They have won three games on the road already, including a big comeback in Dallas, and get to show on Monday night at home against the Bears. Go Lions!

4. (4) Baltimore Ravens: good victory over the Jets to claim the early control of the AFC North and now have a week off to enjoy it. You must love the defense of the Ravens.

3. (2) New Orleans Saints: Sorry, Saints fans, but earn more in Jacksonville was less than impressive. The following is Cam Newton and the Panthers and New Orleans, but should win, it could be closer than most of what you think.

2. (3) New England Patriots: I could not avoid. The’m going to No. 2 ahead of the saints, because, well, I still think they’re better than New Orleans but the Bills lost a couple of weeks I worry. The Patriots took the Raiders and the next will bring more confusion in a Jets team stumble at home.

1. (1) Green Bay Packers: Our team No. 1 is to gain time, waiting for the Super Bowl. Seriously, the Packers are by far the best team in the league and are simply destroy your opponents. They get a good test this week against the Falcons, but I still say that ending 7-0 before reaching the Chargers and Green Bay I’ll take that one, too.

Nfl Power Rankings

Nfl Power RankingsNfl Power Rankings, This is an updated version of my NFL Power Rankings as we prepare for Week 2. I will update my power score every Tuesday throughout the season. Previous rankings in parentheses:
32. (25) Cleveland Browns: I never thought I would get a new computer that occupies the lower the score of my power, but hey, if you lose to the Bengals, here’s where you belong. PS: Try not to stay here forever, Cleveland. We want this year.

31. (32) Cincinnati Bengals: Look who came out of the basement! Bruce Gradkowski took over for an injured Andy Dalton to lead the Bengals to a week in a win over Cleveland. Now travel to Denver in a game none of us want to see.

30. (26) Denver Broncos: Let’s stop accumulating in Kyle Orton, especially all you fans of Tim Tebow. Orton gives Denver the best chance of winning, but not the typical type of franchise quarterback. A better defense is the key to the Broncos right the ship.

29. (21) Minnesota Vikings: Donovan McNabb looked lost against the Chargers. I was 7 years from 15 for just 39 yards. McNabb said he was ashamed, and could endure that kind of numbers in a single series. He better do it, because the Vikings could easily fall to 0-2 this week against Tampa Bay.

28. (27) Seattle Seahawks: This is not the same Seattle team that surprised the Saints in the playoffs last year. This is the team in Seattle who fall to 0-2 when it travels to Pittsburgh and the Steelers rolled.

27. (31) Washington Redskins: I never thought that Rex Grossman and the Redskins managed to beat the Giants, but they did, perhaps deserves to be ranked as the top seed against the Cardinals this week.

26. (30) Carolina Panthers: He had to be impressed with the performance of Cam Newton against the Cardinals. He showed great poise and ability in a loss of about. However, the Panthers also lost the heart of his defense at linebacker Jon Beason, who suffered a torn left Achilles tendon and is done during the year.

25. (28) Oakland Raiders: The Raiders beat the Broncos on the strength of the leg of Sebastian Janikowski. He kicked three field goals, including an NFL record of 63 yards. But remember, the Raiders fans, this is the same as lost a single chip shot last year against the Cardinals.

24. (29) Buffalo Bills: Sorry, but I’m not ready to jump on the bandwagon of the bills “for the moment. Of course, his defeat of the Chiefs was impressive and a bit shocking, to be honest. We will defeat the Raiders this week and gain some momentum and maybe we’ll talk. But I’m climbing five places regardless.

23. (24) San Francisco 49ers: If you miss a return and punt return for a touchdown by Ted Ginn Jr. in the space of a minute in the fourth quarter, the 49ers could not have beaten the Seahawks. I do not see the Cowboys win this week, no matter what Ginn Jr. does.

22. (23) Miami Dolphins: Chad Henne answered all the criticism from fans with a passing game of 400 yards in a week one loss to the Patriots. There is some hope in Miami, after all, and not fully discount the Dolphins in the short term.

21. (20) Tennessee Titans Chris Johnson was a factor not in the Week of Tennessee a loss to the Jaguars, but he will have a workload much heavier this week against the Ravens. If the Titans do not fall behind early, they could stay in this game and maybe leave a surprise. But I would not bet the house on it.

20. (10) Indianapolis Colts: Everyone knew it would be difficult without Peyton Manning, but it was worse. Their 34-7 loss to the Texans was pure ugly. I’m not so sure it’s a lock to beat the Browns this week, so I dropped 10 big spots to No. 20.

19. (22) Jacksonville Jaguars: They played a pretty solid game in the first game to beat Tennessee, but do not think it will continue this week, when they have to play the Jets. Luke McCown may have to run for his life.

18. (19) St. Louis Rams: The Rams probably will be without running back Steven Jackson (four) for the game Monday night at the Giants. Sam Bradford (finger) is expected to start, but can not be 100 percent.

17. (17) Kansas City Chiefs: As much as their 41-7 loss to the Bills have to hurt, security chiefs also lost their prized young Eric Berry, a serious knee injury. Would not surprise me in the least if they lose this week in Detroit.

16. (14) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: His career best step allegedly did not register a sack of Matthew Stafford and running back Blount LeGarrette takes only five, because his head is not in the playbook, according to head coach. Not a good sign for Bucs.

15. (13) New York Giants: After a disappointing loss to the Redskins, the Giants were angry and ready for some retaliation Monday night when they host the Rams. They can not afford to lose receiver Hakeem Nicks (knee) so early.

14. (12) Dallas Cowboys: Say what you will about Tony Romo, but the Cowboys put a lot of points and yards against the Jets on the road, and not many teams that the Jets. Cowboys stay on the road this week when visiting San Francisco and can not afford a loss to a weaker team.

13. (18) Chicago Bears: I have to climb five places after Week 1 surprise at Atlanta. Something tells me, however, the bears will come back to reality after visiting New Orleans in Week 2.

12. (16) Detroit Lions: A good win on the road to Tampa Bay will not mean much if the Lions do not take care of business at home this week against the Chiefs. Matthew Stafford looked amazing and showed us why Detroit should be a team to move forward.

11. (15) Arizona Cardinals: Thanks to some unexpected losses elsewhere, the Cardinals up four points after their victory at Carolina. If the defensive backs to make the necessary adjustments, Arizona can open 3-0 with the Redskins and Seahawks next to the calendar.

10. (9) Atlanta Hawks: Did anyone other than Bears fans that Atlanta was going to be beaten, as he did in Week 1? Well, if it happened against the Bears, imagine how bad it can go this week against the Eagles. The Falcons could be under greater pressure in the NFL.

9. (5) Pittsburgh Steelers: Steelers’m down four points this week and not tell me you do not deserve it. Good thing you get to have some of their attacks in one week enough team the Seahawks in Week 2.

8. (6) New Orleans Saints: a tough loss to the Packers is no reason to bury the Saints. Their offense was outstanding and we’ll see how they respond against a Bears defense pretty well this week at home. New Orleans is not going to lose.

7. (11) Houston Texans: They crushed the Peyton Manning of the Colts in Week 1 to less immediately set the tone for the AFC South. The following is a trip to Miami, where the Dolphins held their own for as long as they could against the Patriots.

6. (8) San Diego Chargers: Again, this is the team I can really go far in the AFC. Do not be surprised if the Chargers went to New England and return with a win. I’ll hang my hat on the Chargers until I prove otherwise. You know, like after Sunday.

5. (7) Baltimore Ravens: I’m tempted to move the Ravens even higher after seeing the way they dismantled the Steelers. He stood in the shoes of Pittsburgh and continued attacking. The Ravens could not cease to be in a special season.

4. (4) New York Jets: If not for a crisis of Tony Romo in the fourth quarter Sunday night, the Jets probably would have lost. They will have to strengthen their defense, but should have no problem rolling over the Jaguars in Week 2.

3. (3) Philadelphia Eagles: All the moves came out to play in Week 1, but let’s see how the ‘Dream Team’ for some time when traveling to Atlanta to face a team that rarely loses at home.

2. (2) New England Patriots: There’s a reason the Patriots are ranked so high. All I had to do was watch them play Monday night against the Dolphins. Tom Brady was outstanding, with 517 yards passing and could be involved in a shootout next week against the Chargers.

1. (1) Green Bay Packers: They seemed to be in midseason form in Week 1, so one can only wonder how the Packers will respond this week when they travel to Carolina. Do not expect Cam Newton passed for 422 yards as he did against the Cardinals, however.

NFL Power Rankings

NFL Power RankingsNFL Power Rankings, The NFL preseason is officially over, and teams now cut their workforce and start preparing for their first game of next week, but what is the best game in the opening week?

A number of quality games for the first week of the season, but take first place for several different reasons. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are both Super Bowl contenders and play hard, hard-nosed football and best of all their division rivals.

These teams played three games against each other in the 2010-11 season and each game was decided by a touchdown or less. Find another competition tough, physical, and the winner takes the lead in the AFC North.

Another great fight, but is the second week, the New Orleans Saints on the road to face the Packers in Green Bay. This game features the winner of the last two Super Bowls, and will be the opening game of the NFL season.

Both teams have a quarterback and All-Pro high-powered offenses, but the Packers have the advantage in defense and home field advantage in this contest.

The soap opera that is the NFL is ready to begin a new season, and a number of great stories that come next season, and what better way to start the season than with two excellent games like these. Like every season, teams will surprise both good and bad reasons, and from next week’s NFL fans and the teams begin the journey of the 2011-12 season in the NFL.
