Imagine, Create, And Participate. Together, these three words are the theme of First Night Monterey 2011.
“First Night is a celebration of imagination because people do many activities with many artistic and artistic experiences in one night,” said Ellen Martin, executive director of the annual festival in downtown Monterey. “First Night is all about participation – and you use your imagination it’s about dreaming of the New Year when you come to the first night, you imagine, you create, you participate …”

It is also a place not only to observe art, music and dance, but he creates. It is an event where all generations can rejoice.
