NIT Tournament 2012, The NIT Basketball Tournament 2012 bracket was unveiled on TV Sunday night on ESPNU. Included in their field of 32 teams will be several of the major conference schools who did not make it into the NCAA Tournament. This will mark the 75th anniversary of the National Invitation Tournament for men’s college basketball.

The latest NIT printable bracket reveals the top squads who didn’t make the NCAA tournament. Head over to NCAA.com to print out a copy for yourself.

According to NCAA.com, among the top seeds in the NIT this year will be Washington, Tennessee, Seton Hall and Arizona.

Seton Hall and Washington were both teams that had been discussed as potential bubble teams for the Big Dance, but were not selected by the committee on Sunday.

Washington will begin play at home against Texas-Arlington. The winner of that game will face the winner of No. 4 Northwestern and No. 5 Akron.

Seton Hall begins against Stony Brook, with the winner moving on to face the winner of No. 4 Mississippi State and No. 5 UMass. No. 3 Drexel will play No. 6 UCF, and No. 2 Saint Joseph’s faces No. 7 Northern Iowa.
