Olympics Tv Schedule | USsPost.com:Recent update from Olympic Winter Games website informs that The Men’s alpine skiing downhill competition at Whistler Creekside originally scheduled for 11:45 am Pacific Time on Saturday, February 13 has been postponed to February 15 due to adverse weather. The new start time for the event is expected to be published later in the day.

Yesterday Vancouver held a perfect Opening Ceremony to the Games. The unfortunate death of the Georgian luger Nodar Kumaritashvili hours before the ceremony cast a dark shadow over the celebration. And the Georgian team which was contemplating withdraw, eventually abandoned the plan at the request of the Georgian Govt. During the parade, the team members wore a black band and left a place empty as a show of respect to the deceased luger.

Nelly Furtado and Bryan Adams were the principal attraction of the day and the pair enthralled the crowd with the song “Bang the Drum.”

Other than the incident related to the ’torch malfunction’, everything went off without a hitch.
