National Hurricane CenterNational Hurricane Center, Weather disturbance of wind and rain over the Atlantic can be upgraded to a tropical depression or storm over the next 48 hours, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The system, currently located 250 miles east of Martinique, has a 90 percent chance of becoming a tropical cyclone, according to an update in the morning from the center headquartered in South Miami -Dade.

Monday morning, a reconnaissance aircraft of the Air Force flew through the system and determined that it had tropical storm force winds, no organized circulation center. However, the center said that conditions in the area “remains conducive to a tropical depression or tropical storm to form later today or tomorrow.”

If the weather pattern is intensified, became a tropical depression or tropical storm Emily. Scientists are now monitoring Tropical Storm Eugene in the Pacific Ocean, and it is projected that this could strengthen into a hurricane.
