Qatar Map, Qatar is going to host the first Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMI) conference on November 28.

The inaugural regional conference is the first in a series of open houses planned in order to reach out to members and governments across the Middle East.

“The Middle East Services Management Association is a first for the region, and an essential tool for anyone involved in the development of a sustainable built environment for socio-economic thrust,” said President MEFMI, Jamal Abdulla Lootah.

“Engaging with professionals and governments everywhere not only GCC, but the Middle East as a whole, is essential. The cooperation and understanding of the regionality of the transparent dialogue and education is the cornerstone the delivery of our sustainable development goals, “said Lootah.

Education, training and knowledge sharing are the backbone of the policy MEFMI. “We work with universities to develop regional and international MEFMI accredited courses at the highest level. The long term goal is to make these courses accessible to the rest of the Middle East. ”

“I see MEFMI as having an important role in education and training of those responsible for optimizing the efficiency of the building. He is the only way forward if we want to reduce emissions from construction and nature operates more efficiently with the power and water to our cities, “said Ibrahim Fakhroo, vice president and director MEFMI, Real Estate Group, Barwa Real Estate Company.
