Michael Jackson Auction, A piece of furniture auctioned off by the estate of pop singer Michael Jackson goes on display Saturday at Grand Home Furnishings here, ABC Channel 13 reported.

The piece is a large armoire with a message written by Jackson on its mirror that says, “Train, perfection, March, April, full out May.” The message was apparently meant to inspire Jackson as he prepared for the London tour he was planning before his death.

The TV station quoted Grand Home’s Robert G. Bennett as saying that the store wanted the armoire as an iconic piece of the entertainer’s life. Another selection from Jackson’s Los Angeles home, a seating piece from his projection room, also was purchased by Grand Home, the station said.

Since the sale was conducted in an outside showroom, the auction house created full-scale photo enlargements of significant rooms in the Jackson home, including the bedroom where the armoire was located, to help bidders put the furnishings in context. The visuals will serve as a backdrop in the store’s display.
