Meredith Kercher, The previous suspect in the murder of Meredith Kercher may be penning a book.

Amanda Knox, who was convicted and cleared of the murder in an Italian appeals court, hired prominent attorney Robert Barnett to help her as she considers the possible book deal, Reuters reports.

“Mr. Barnett will also assist Amanda and her family in evaluating other opportunities as well,” Knox’s spokesman David Marriott said in a statement reported by Reuters. He did not provide more information about the other opportunities.

Knox, who traveled to Italy for her year abroad, and her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were convicted in 2009 of murdering 21-year-old Kercher in what prosecutors said was a drug-fueled sexual assault, Reuters reports. The conviction was overturned in an Italian appeals court due to unreliable evidence used against the suspects in the first trial.

Barnett has presented the likes of President Barack Obama, former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush and singer Barbra Streisand in their own book deals, according to Reuters.
