Australia Time

December 31, 2010 by · Comments Off on Australia Time

Australia Time, If you live in the United States and you want to call a friend in Australia, you can try calling them to 2:15 p.m.-06: 15 your time. This will be between 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. their time, since Australia is 16 hours and 45 minutes ahead of the United States.

If you’re available any time, but you want to reach someone in Australia to work, you can try 16 hours 15-00:15 your time. This is the best time to reach them from 9:00 to 5:00 p.m. during normal working hours.

Unfortunately, there is no time overlap between your normal working hours and theirs. The best we can do with the meeting planner is to expand the range to cover the time 3:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (U.S.).

This site provides an online time zone converter for places all over the world. You can enter airports, cities, states, countries, or zip codes to find the time difference between two places. The calculator will automatically adjust for daylight saving time (DST) in the summer. You can use it as a meeting planner or a scheduler to find the best time to make international phone calls. World time zones have a positive or negative offset computed from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), or Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). UTC has uniform seconds defined by International Atomic Time (TAI), with leap seconds announced at irregular intervals to compensate for the slower rotation of the Earth. The database tz database or zoneinfo uses the closest city, rather than the more common Eastern, Central, Mountain or zones, Pacific Time U.S… Countries often change their daylight saving rules, so please help we stay current by letting us know if you find any pages that need updates.
