Mark Wahlberg Tattoo

Mark Wahlberg Tattoo, Mark Wahlberg, actor and producer, is having some ink removed.

Wahlberg, 40, has four tattoos that we know of–Sylvester the cat with Tweety Bird in his mouth on his ankle, a design of his initials “MW” with his surname “Wahlberg” on his upper right arm, and a Bob Marley tattoo with “One Love” on his upper left arm. And the fourth is the rosary tattooed around his neck, with a crucifix and the words “In God I Trust” resting over his heart.

On Jan. 9, Wahlberg told David Letterman about how he is in the process of having them removed. He cited his career and children as the reason for the removal of the tattoos.

According to the Inquisitr.com, Wahlberg is getting them removed, mainly, to deter his kids from getting inked.

“I don’t want my kids getting tattoos. And I wanted them to be [gone] by the time I did ‘The Fighter’ because putting make-up on and covering them up has always been a pain in the butt,” Wahlberg said. “I’ve taken my two older kids to the procedure so they see how painful it is and what I have to go through.

Wahlberg and model Rhea Durham have four children, Ella Rae, Michael Robert, Brendan Joseph and Grace Margaret.

Mark Wahlberg is the brother of New Kids on the Block member Donnie Wahlberg, who can be seen Friday nights on “Blue Bloods.”

Mark Wahlberg 9/11

Mark Wahlberg 9/11Mark Wahlberg 9/11, ACTOR Mark Wahlberg quickly apologised today for claiming he would have subdued the 9/11 hijackers.  “If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did,” Wahlberg said in an interview released today by Men’s Journal. “There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.'”

His comment drew a quick and stern rebuke from the widow of a man who fought the 9/11 terrorists on Flight 93, causing the jet to crash in a Pennsylvania field instead of reaching its intended target in Washington, DC.

“Does Mark Wahlberg have a pilot’s licence?” Deena Burnett-Bailey said to TMZ. “Then I think hindsight is 20/20 and it’s insignificant to say what you would have done if you weren’t there.”

Burnett-Bailey has said her husband, Thomas Burnett, called her from the plane and said he and two other men planned to storm the cockpit.

Burnett-Bailey’s response prompted a swift apology from the 40-year-old star of the new box office hit Contraband, who conceded to TMZ that he had crossed the line.

“To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with,” Wahlberg said. “I deeply apologise to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention.”

It is not the first time Wahlberg has expressed his anguish over the fateful series of events. The actor was scheduled to be on one of the Boston-to-Los Angeles flights that crashed into the World Trade Center on 9/11. He changed his travel plans a week before and flew to Toronto for a film festival instead.

In 2006, he said, “We certainly would have tried to do something to fight. I’ve had probably over 50 dreams about it.”
