Jodie Fisher, (The Huffington Post) — SAN FRANCISCO – The woman at the center of the sexual harassment suit that forced the resignation of Hewlett-Packard Co., Mark Hurd, CEO revealed his identity Sunday and said he was “shocked and saddened” that Hurd lost his job.

Jodie Fisher, 50, actress and businesswoman, known through their jobs Hurd contract with HP’s marketing department from 2007 to 2009. HP will pay up to 5,000 per event to greet people and make presentations from executives attending HP events she helped organize.

Fisher echoed the statement Hurd, the two never had a sexual relationship, but neither she nor her lawyer, celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, to discuss the details of the harassment claim. “Mark and I never had an affair or an intimate sexual relationship,” he said in a statement.

In the statement, Fisher described her relationship with Hurd: “I met Mark in 2007 when I interviewed for a job on the contractor. In HP, I was under contract to work at a high level of clients and executives at the summit events held throughout the country and abroad. I prepared for these events, worked very hard and a pleasure to work for HP. I resolved my complaint with Mark in private, without question, and I have no intention of commenting further. ”

Sexual harassment lawsuit set off the chain of events that led to the discovery of allegedly falsified expense reports Hurd had dinner and ended with Fisher Hurd forced resignation on Friday of the largest technology company in the world.

Fisher acknowledged that she and Hurd had resolved the issue. A person familiar with the case told The Associated Press that Hurd agreed to pay Fisher, but did not disclose the amount of payment.

“I was surprised and saddened that Mark Hurd lost his job over this,” Fisher said in a statement. “That was never my intention.”
