Marco Simoncelli CrashMarco Simoncelli Crash, Jenson Button joined the world of motor racing stars in tribute to Marco Simoncelli today. The McLaren driver, wrote on his Twitter account: “RIP Marco … an exciting talent lost My thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone involved in MotoGP Motorsport can be so cruel ….”.

One fellow Formula drivers, Mark Webber of Red Bull, echoed Button’s homage, saying on Twitter: “. RIP Marco a special talent that can be lost … thinking of their loved ones, and all the MotoGP paddock mark .. ”

British MotoGP rider Cal Crutchlow also tweeted: “RIP Marco Simoncelli a great driver and all round nice guy My thoughts are with his family & friends will never forget today !…”

The Spanish rider Dani Pedrosa had a dispute with fellow Honda factory Simoncelli earlier this season, but the news of the death of his rival’s left of last season’s championship runner-up winding.

Pedrosa Repsol Honda, said: “In a tragedy like this is not much to say just want to give my deepest condolences to his family and everyone who loves to have been with his father and all I could do was .. a hug, nothing else matters.

“It was a fatal accident and everyone in the paddock is maintained in a state of shock.

“We often forget how dangerous this sport can be when you lose people along the way nothing makes sense. It is clear that we all do what we like, what we like, but on days like today does not matter. ”

Newly crowned MotoGP champion Casey Stoner said: “I am very shocked and saddened by the loss of Marcus When such things happen that reminds us how precious life is, makes me feel sick inside ..

“All I can say is I am sorry for all the family of Marco, I can not imagine what they are going and our thoughts and wishes are with them at this time. I hope everyone and be close to out of this tragedy together . ”

His compatriot Simoncelli and Repsol Honda rider Andrea Dovizioso said: “I saw the pictures and I’m surprised, in a race to fight and push hard and disaster is often around the corner.

“Marco was a strong rider and always pressed. We ran together since we were children, always pushing to the maximum vi, crashed many times, but no serious injuries, he seemed invincible. What happened today seems impossible.”

Simoncelli, who won the 250cc world championship in 2008, getting the crown in Sepang, came to MotoGP in 2010 and finished eighth overall last season.

His death was the first fatality from Daijiro Katoh MotoGP of Japan died from injuries sustained in the 2003 Japanese Grand Prix.
