Major League Baseball PlayoffsMajor League Baseball Playoffs, With the regular season Major League Baseball has completed, the best time of year is about to begin, the baseball playoffs. Baseball playoffs is where players become legends. The regular season ended this year with events that will always be remembered.
First, the Atlanta Braves stumbled and lost the advantage of September in baseball history. Just 25 minutes later, the Red Sox their hit game’s main 9 and the Wild Card loss to Tampa Bay. huge advantage in the race for NL wild card to the St. Louis Cardinals. These two teams enter the playoffs with six teams. The other teams are the Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL. The union of these teams are the New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers American League.
The first game of the Division Series National League are the Phillies and Cardinals, the Phillies have been the best team in baseball this year, and if they play how they can be few teams that could give them problems, least of all the cardinals. The Phillies pitching is too strong and if their offense hit the ball the way a series should be easy for them.
The other series is the Arizona Diamondbacks NLDS against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers should take this series, but will not be easy. The Diamondbacks are a young team with nothing to lose and could be dangerous. However, the Brewers have two candidates for the MVP award to Ryan Braun and Prince Feilden and that should be enough to bring them to the National League Championship Series to the league.
With the Brewers and Phillies head to head in the championship series which will make a good series. I think the Phillies should be able to remove it. The Phillies have a strong rotation and a bullpen solid and the only question will be their offense. But the Brewers have no more ptiching staff and I can see the offense get the advantage Phillies.
Now the American League. One of the two division series is the American League Tampa Bay Rays against the Texas Rangers. The Rays were a big story in September, but I see it ends with the Rangers come out on top. With CJ Wilson and pitchers Matt Harrison and players like Josh Hamilton, Adrian Beltre and Nelson Cruz, Rangers are too strong for the Rays to handle.
The other series is Division Series against the Detroit Tigers to the Yankees in New York. I see the Tigers win this series of six or seven games. The Yankees have a good offense, but a questionable pitching staff. I think the probable Cy Young Tigers with, and candidate for MVP, Justin Verlander, you will receive and the Championship Series Amerial League.
The Rangers in the Championship Series last year and although I get there again, I doubt they will return to the World Series. I see the Tigers beat the Rangers in the World Series.
With the Detroit Tigers and Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series to face, I think it is a low score. The Tigers have a Cy Young candidate, and the Phillies have three. This will be enough to beat the Phillies their second World Series title in the last four seasons.
