Os X Lion Release DateOs X Lion Release Date, We know that many of our readers are waiting for the release of Mac OS X Lion and the new MacBook Air in 2011, rumored to be launching the same day. Much of the speculation currently surrounding a July 14th release date, which is today, but now we are hearing reports that Mac OS X Lion can not release this week, after all, which also means no new MacBook air.

We have written countless articles on both the school and school of thought is that we can see the launch of the new OS and MacBook Air upgrade on the same day. Only a few days ago we posted about the four new models planned for the MacBook Air, but now rumors suggest that all may be waiting for anything just yet. Arnold Kim over MacRumors says about rumors of release July 14, but notes some doubt creeps in. For example John Siracusa of Ars Technica said in a podcast 5by5.tv said he had heard have Mac OS X Lion not would come with us this week, but acknowledged that this was not first-hand information.

Added to that, however, Jim Dalrymple LoopInsight which has previously been known to have contacts Apple, Twitter last night of his hope that “you do not lose too much sleep waiting for the new Macs and Leon tomorrow.” Although MacRumors suggest that the media will not come today, it would only say that it could also be to reach high expectations and just watching everyone. These rumors, of course, mean nothing on there own, but of course we must note that the July 14 release date rumor is just that, a rumor, though perhaps with more land.

If Mac OS X Lion did not launch today is very unlikely that the MacBook Air will reach as much as we have said before how the MacBook Air was arrested again for the release until it could be Mac OS X Lion pre-installed. We hope that this last information is wrong and that the new operating system and the air will be later today, but we’re not holding our breath for the moment. While waiting may be interested in our article this morning about the Sony VAIO Z series now released in the U.S., which many feel is a really credible alternative to the MacBook Air. Maddy Rowe OSM has also written recently about how the current MacBook Aires are being reduced. What are you waiting for Mac OS X Lion or the new MacBook Air? Let us know your comments.
