The Switch

The SwitchThe Switch:There is a great idea, the new rom comedy of errors called The Switch. It’s a Jennifer Aniston vehicle, which most often is a bad sign, and co-star Jason Bateman. I’d rather see them in horrible bosses, in which she is a nymphomaniac dentist and he is one of the three guys trying to kill their leaders, Aniston is one of them. That’s good. This? Not really.

Throw in the classification because the trailer containing the ridiculously outrageous claim that this is “the most unexpected comedy ever conceived.” Well, it is not. I have what we are doing – “Hey, is not unexpected that the sauce could be Jason Bateman in the syringe Aniston turkey … and conceived? – But do not make it any less lame. The word games in general , poor lame, anyway.

Equally discouraging is that Jeff Goldblum, the large, irrepressible Jeff Goldblum gives his last performance here as the “friend peculiar.” Ugh. And you know Goldblum died, right? Colbert spoke not long after that happpened.
