Michael Buble Songs

Michael Buble SongsMichael Buble Songs, It’s beginning to look — and sound — a lot like Christmas. You know how you can tell? Aside from the festive decor, frenzied shoppers at the mall, and non-stop holiday tunes playing in every store, there’s the endless stream of holiday television viewing, from Christmas-themed episodes of the shows you love and the shows you love to hate, to the holidays specials, such as the one airing tonight on CTV and NBC: A Michael Buble Christmas (because a new CD of Christmas music by the Canadian crooner wasn’t enough).

Joining Buble is . . . wait for it . . . Justin Bieber. Do you hear that? That’s the sound of screaming, young fans across the country. “You’re like my brother from another mother,” Bieber tells Buble. “I know! That’s exactly what it’s like,” replies a very excited Buble.

And if an appearance by the world’s biggest teenage pop star isn’t enough, I have three words for you: Oscar the Grouch. Sesame Street’s resident grumpy, green muppet pays Buble a visit with his garbage can in tow. Any show where a muppet makes an appearance is one worth watching — in this writer’s humble opinion, anyway.

Taped in front of a live studio audience, A Michael Buble Christmas has most of the elements one might expect. Something that might surprise is the sight of Buble decked out in a tacky red and white Christmas sweater, slicked-back hair and a creepy, ’70s-inspired moustache. Thankfully, Buble is not debuting a new look for the holidays; it’s all in jest for one of the comedy sketches, set in 1974, and co-staring an equally shlocky-looking Ed Helms (The Office). Adding to the gift that is a Buble Christmas special, 30 Rock’s Tracy Morgan appears in a separate digital short. Country singer Kellie Pickler also drops in to spread some holiday cheer, along with The Puppini Sisters and Thalia. And did I mention Justin Bieber?
