Summer Girls Lyrics

Summer Girls Lyrics, Reuters – Rich Cronin, former lead singer of boy band LFO, and the writer of his 1999 hit “Summer Girls”, died Wednesday after a battle with leukemia, celebrity website TMZ reported. He was 35.

Lance Bass, former member of AND Sync, who described Cronin as “an incredible man”, reported the news on Twitter. It is unclear where he died Cronin.

The Boston native co-founder of LFO – short for “Lyte Funky Ones” – in 1995 with Brad Fischetti and Brian Gillis (who was later replaced by Devin Lima). They signed a contract with Lou Pearlman, the pop entrepreneur now locked up behind AND Sync and the Backstreet Boys.

But Cronin sought to differentiate his band of male vocal groups, which relied on outside songwriters and producers to deliver pop soul hits. LFO entered the hip-hop and rock into the equation, and hit No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with the inescapable summer anthem “Summer Girls.”

Monitoring, “Girl on TV”, reached No. 10, but subsequent singles did not top 40. The band broke up in 2003.

Cronin was diagnosed with cancer in 2005, and established a foundation to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Lfo Summer Girls, In the morning, everyone. I’m not particularly clever or expressive in the moment, so let’s get right to it and take a look at the world of arts and entertainment.

Lfo Singer Dies

September 9, 2010 by · Comments Off on Lfo Singer Dies

Lfo Singer Dies, It was a sad day in the world of pop on Wednesday, as the news spread by Rich Cronin, lead singer and composer of LFO once ubiquitous 1999 pop hit “Summer Girls”, died after a long battle with leukemia. He was only 35 years old and left a legacy of pop songs that are loaded sadly underrated unfortunately claim the name of the group (the letters stood for “Lyte Funky Ones) and the lyrics too smart for their biggest hit (” New Kids on the Block had a bunch of hits / Chinese food makes me sick. “)

Born and raised outside Boston, Cronin LFO formed late 90’s with his friends Brad Fischetti and Devin Lima. His self-titled debut album was an immediate and decisive “Summer Girls” a huge hit (it reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100) and moves over two million copies. Also scored a hit with “Girl on TV”, which was about Jennifer Love Hewitt (who also participated in the video).

After those two hits, LFO receded into the background, but never lost consciousness Cronin writing. The single “I Do not Want to Kiss You Goodnight” should have been a much bigger success and the group 2001 sophomore effort Life Is Good was full of similarly catchy, bubbly and, yes, pop funky breaks, including “all other times” (which was a minor hit) and “6 Minutes” (which should have been a success, but is probably best known for his brothers Jonas roof, which appeared on 2006 album of the band It’s About Time).

Once separated LFO in 2003, never Cronin was established as the composer that he is a murderer (which could easily have become a doctor in the pop mold Linda Perry or Butch Walker), although it had some success in meeting LFO 2009. Although “Summer Girls” could be the polarization of the boy band was unique (is neck and neck with Everything “Hooch”), Cronin was one of the sharpest songwriters to emerge from that scene. “I do not want to Kiss You Goodnight” is still a great song and deserves to be a success. Consider this the start of his campaign late.
