Lana Del Rey Tour, Lana Del Rey’s disastrous “Saturday Night Live” last month hit such a bum note that her handlers have postponed her upcoming tour in order to let the furor die down, the New York Post reports.

The “Video Games” singer’s tour was intended to coincide with the release of her latest album, “Born to Die,” which went on sale late in January, but a Post source says that Del Rey and her manager decided to hold off after the nearly unanimous negative reaction that her performance received.

“She was very upset [by the response],” the source told the newspaper. “They figure it allows time for her to clear her head, then go back to selling tickets. More importantly, they figure, the extra time gives them more distance from ‘SNL.'”

The 30-date tour of 1,000 to 3,000-seat theaters was to begin as soon as March, according to the paper.

Del Rey’s manager has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.

Del Rey’s awkward, low-key performance of her single “Video Games” on “SNL” drew widespread scorn, with everyone from actresses Juliette Lewis and Elilza Dushku to NBC news anchor Brian Williams. Many thought the performance was a skit by “SNL” player Kristen Wiig. (It wasn’t, but Wiig spoofed the singer during a segment on “SNL”‘s Weekend Update on Saturday.)
