Lady Gaga JudasLady Gaga Judas, First, it is claimed that Lady Gaga Madonna started. Now there’s this. A relatively unknown composer from Chicago is suing monster mother for allegedly using stolen pieces of a song from her single “Judas.”

The plaintiff, Rebecca Francescatti, says she wrote a song titled like manner called “Judah” in 1999. In 2005, according to her federal lawsuit filed in the Northern District of Illinois, came the sound engineer Brian Gaynor to re-record and mix their copyrighted song, which is in iTunes.

That’s where things took an unusual turn for her complaint. See Gaynor is an associate of DJ White Shadow a Chitown based producer, DJ and engineer also known as Paul Blair, who produced several tracks on the last album’s highly successful Lady Gaga, Born This Way, although curiously no “Judas “.

But the lawyer Francescatti, Christopher Niro, insists that there is a connection. He tells E! The news that Gaga Gaynor flew to Paris in March and April 2010 to work on her album. It’s that personal connection (tenuous as it appears) and the similarities between the two songs when he first heard “Judas” at its launch in March that he Francescatti believe they are “too common … to be an independent creation. ”

“Many people say that the songs sound the same at first glance, but if you look at music and composition, is the opposite,” says the lawyer. “We talked to musicologists and other experts who examined the melody and tonal structure, not only with the chorus line, but all [and came to this conclusion].”

Calls seeking comment from the Grammy winner was not immediately returned.

The suit also points to an e-mail saying he Gaynor Francescatti Lady Gaga also provided with several tracks in which he recorded her voice and sent back to him via iChat. Nothing Gaynor “played bass, keys, co-wrote and coengineered” three tracks on Born This Way, Niro says it was a great opportunity for elements of “Judah,” which became “Judas.” (The suit also says DJ White Shadow produced 17 of the 20 songs that appeared on the album of 14 songs, so I suppose that is according to the plans of the tracks that did not make the final cut).

Lady Gaga label, Universal Music Group, DJ White Shadow and Gaynor, are also named as defendants in the lawsuit. Take a listen to the songs and judge for yourself.
