Kristen Wiig, Seminar and “Harry Potter” star Alan Rickman has been added to the New York Times’ 11th annual Arts & Leisure Weekend, which will launch Jan. 5, 2012, at the TimesCenter.
Rickman will appear from 10-11:15 AM Jan. 7, 2012. He currently stars as excoriating editor Leonard in the Broadway production of Theresa Rebeck’s comedy Seminar. He is well known for portraying Professor Severus Snape in the “Harry Potter” film franchise. Rickman was seen in Ibsen’s John Gabriel Borkman at BAM last season.

It was also revealed that “Bridesmaids” and “SNL” star Kirsten Wiig will join “Bridesmaids” director Paul Feig Jan. 8, 2012, from 6-7:15 PM; and “50/50? film collaborators Seth Rogen and Will Reiser will be on hand Jan. 8, 2012, from 8-9:15 PM.

Previously announced events include the cast and creative team of “The Good Wife,” including Juliana Margulies, Christine Baranski, Josh Charles and creators Robert and Michelle King (Jan. 6, 2012, from 6-7:15 PM).

Composer and musician Philip Glass will be in attendance (Jan. 7, 2012, from 2-3:15 PM); and Academy Award-nominated “Revolutionary Road” actor Michael Shannon will be on hand (Jan. 7, 2012, 4-5:15 PM).

Also featured will be Grammy-winning musician Allison Krause (Jan. 5, 2012, from 6-7:15 PM); Emmy winner David Cross (Jan. 5, 2012, from 8-9:15 PM); author Patricia Cornwell (Jan. 7, 2012, from 12-1:15 PM); the “Dog Whisperer” Cesar Milan (Jan. 8. 2012, 10-11:15 AM); Barney’s creative director and author Simon Doonan (Jan. 8, 2012, 12-1:15 PM); Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Errol Morris (Jan. 8, 2012, from 2-3:15 PM); and Grammy-winning record producer Clive Davis (Jan. 8, 2012, from 4-5:15 PM).
