Side-lined dining competitive Takeru Kobayashi went berserk and was arrested Sunday assault on the stage after a contract dispute prevented him from competing in the annual competition hot Nathan’s Dog Food.

The police beat her fists on the diminutive former champion after he watched from the crowd while his arch rival Joey (Jaws) Chestnut took home the mustard yellow belt.

Kobayashi, 32, was transferred to the 60th police station, where the pending charges.

Kobayashi was not on stage this year apparently because he refused to sign a contract that limits their professional activities in eating contests affiliated with Major League Eating organization.

For the more health conscious, the 41st Annual Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race 10K in Atlanta, Georgia – which attracts runners from around the world – has served as an alternative Fourth of July.
