Kings Of Leon

Kings Of LeonKings Of Leon, I’m starting to think about my current gig is cursed, because the Kings of Leon Saturday show at the Pavilion Gexa Energy ago for my second show at the last cut short due to a fault. Stage Rihanna caught fire in the AAC on July 8, and lead singer Caleb Followill KOL rescued backstage and did not return until the end of the show.

Pavilion Energy Gexa was full. Despite the heat, all seats in the living room deck were occupied, and the lawn was a sea of?? Heads moving all the way to the wall. Ushers handed out makeshift fans at each entrance, and a giant rotating blades embedded were exploding on the roof of the marquee stage, however, did not make the heat more bearable with hundreds of corpses piled at the site.

As the sun set on the lawn, all the lights went out in the living room covered. KOL began their set with “Radioactive” as the lights went down large stage from the ceiling. The lights began to strobe, and when Followill let out a long breath “woooooo” the stage was hidden in a blaze of white stage lights all burnt out loud.

KOL was not until three songs in a whole before the searchlights on the stage started catching huge clouds of smoke from his mouth in front of people. A cloud rose in the half, then two on the left, and another from the right, and, finally, clouds of smoke were popping up everywhere in the hole, and the smell of marijuana set in.

Followill began to show signs of a struggle from the beginning. Just a couple of songs, and he talked to the audience.

“My voice is 100% gone, so if you can all sing,” he urged.

But somewhere between realizing the “past” his voice was really, and feeling the Texas heat combined with multiple stage lights large fell on him, one of the stagehands came to put a wet towel neck.

“For the record I’m not drunk.’m F ** kin hot,” he said.

But it was only two songs later, after finishing “notion,” singing with a background of three lines of blue LED lights that Followill left the stage, and informed us she needed a break of 20 minutes. To cool off, to vomit, have another beer, you never know. The stage lost its luster as the lights came back on by default. At first, the fans did not seem too worried, but after 20 minutes had passed and the stage was still empty, the complaint could be heard both by the heat and waiting. But as soon as the brother and cousin Followill stepped to the microphone the scandal was under way. You could hear the sincere disappointment, and perhaps a little fear, both in their voices when he apologized for not being able to finish the show Followill.

There was a flood of boos that the initial public received the news. There were groups of fans were not too lost and angry, I tried to encourage the kids who had to cover for the singer, knowing that was not their fault. But then, T-shirts and other accessories with ease in the air began to fly on stage, and took as its cue to utter an apology last, the promise of a return, and then leave the stage. But before he could be too discouraged by not listening to “Sex On Fire,” the couple in front of me turned and offered me a couple of beers as a peace offering, saying they were relatives of the band – at least KOL damage control is good.
