Kina Grannis, Who needs high-tech animation when you have 288,000 candy? Singer Kina Grannis used more than 200,000 candy colors to paint a moving picture in her new music video “on their arms.”

“I wanted to make a video that was unique and very good and feels great in hand,” Grannis said in the behind the scenes video features. The music video uses the jelly bean art and encouraged him by shooting frame by frame to create video changing backgrounds.

It took 2460 frames, 1,357 hours and about 30 people – and more than a year of shooting and complete in accordance with video producers. The video has received nearly 72,711 views on YouTube so far. “It’s just been a labor of love,” Grannis said in the video between racks.
