Kate Middleton Black Dress, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are all smiles as they are captured in their underwear. A muscular Prince William is pictured in a pair of Britannia boxer shorts, V-neck tee and thick black socks while his wife Catherine models a white plunging camisole, briefs and heeled shoes.

But the duo haven’t been caught off guard – the semi-clad images appear in the William and Kate Dress-up Dolly Book, which allows readers to clothe the sketched royal characters with paper outfits.

Paper dolls first became popular in Europe during the mid-18th century and were classed as an inexpensive children’s toy.
The recent book was launched to celebrate the royal wedding, and enables children or adults to dress William and Kate for a number of occasions.

It contains miniature outfits fit for various social engagements including a garden palace at Buckingham Palace, a polo match and a weekend in the country.

Readers are instructed to ‘carefully cut around’ each paper figure and slide the items of clothing on.

Commenting on the product Mrs Wood posts on Amazon: ‘Just as I expected. It was amazing how many women used to love this kind of book! Intended as a jokey present, just right especially William’s boxers!’

While Mrs Shingler writes: ‘I bought this book as a present for an elderly lady who was delighted with it!

‘She has kept it in the wrapper and gets it out from time to time to show her visitors who all find it great fun.’

A promotional video for the book also brings the two paper characters to life.

Wolf-whistles punctuate the background piano music as Kate pops out of the book in her underwear while William makes comments including ‘what fun’, ‘ding dong’ and ‘splendid’.

Kate Middleton Black Dress, The Duchess of Cambridge — credited with boosting Britain’s economy by £1BILLION through copycat fans — wore the 1950s-style grey coat dress this week for her first solo public engagement.

But women desperately trying to get hold of the Jesire outfit were stunned to find the firm ceased trading in August after 13 years.

Now Martyn Vines, former chief of the Hong Kong-based label — which sold in John Lewis outlets — hopes the Kate factor could relaunch the business.

Martyn, 54, said last night: “I can only imagine how many sales we would have had today if we were still operating.

“I’ve let the owners in Hong Kong know about it and I hope to hear from them tomorrow. It would be great to see Jesire re-emerge in the UK.”
