Jeff, Who Lives At Home

Jeff, Who Lives At Home, Buying a brand new car is never a good investment. Sure, the smell is nice and there’s definitely something special about being the first ass that’s been put down in the driver’s seat, but the damn thing depreciates in value the second you drive off the lot and unless you’re lucky enough to have your particular model become a “classic car” that resell value is only going to drop more. But do you want to know how the investment gets even worse? If you buy a car that is worth way more than you can afford and then crash it into a tree.

The first clip from Jeff, Who Lives At Home has arrive online and you can watch Ed Helms go through that exact situation with Jason Segel riding shotgun. Check it out below, courtesy of Yahoo!

Directed by the Duplass brothers, who previously brought us Cyrus and The Puffy Chair, the new film stars Segel as Jeff, a man stuck in arrested development living in his mother’s basement. When she finally gets him to get off his duff and run an errand, he runs into his brother (Helms) and the two discover that the brother’s wife may be cheating on him. Jeff, Who Lives At Home also stars Susan Sarandon and Judy Greer. Look for it when it arrives in theaters on March 16th and to see more from the film head over to our Blend Film Database.

Jeff Who Lives At Home, Due out in just under two months, we got the brilliant first trailer and poster for the Duplass brothers’ Jeff, Who Lives At Home last month, and it gave a great indication of the kind of comedy we can expect from this film, with a healthy dose of drama too. This is definitely my kind of movie.

To go with last month’s trailer, we now have the first clip from the film to share with you, courtesy of Yahoo Movies, that features the wrecking of a rather nice Porsche.

Led by Jason Segel and Ed Helms as brothers Jeff and Pat, the film was co-written and -directed by Jay and Mark Duplass, and also stars Judy Greer as Pat’s wife and Susan Sarandon as the brothers’ mother, Sharon.

“On his way to the store to buy wood glue, Jeff looks for signs from the universe to determine his path. However, a series of comedic and unexpected events leads him to cross paths with his family in the strangest of locations and circumstances. Jeff just may find the meaning of his life and if he’s lucky, pick up the wood glue as well.”

The Duplass brothers’ latest offering will be released in the States on 16th March, before coming here a month later on 20th April. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait. For now, here’s the great first clip from the film, and if you haven’t seen it already, I recommend catching the trailer here.
