Semih Erden, (CP) – The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired rookie forward Luke Harangody and rookie center Semih Erden in a trade with the Boston Celtics. Shortly before the deadline of Thursday, the Cavaliers sent Boston a second-round pick in 2013 for the Celtics in exchange for the players. Cleveland acquired the selection last summer from Minnesota in the deal for the service of Delonte West.

The Cavaliers were interested Erden, a seven-footer from Turkey for a while. He has averaged .1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 37 games.

Harangody, who played at Notre Dame, averaged 2.3 points and .0 rebounds in 28 games. He led the Big East in scoring and rebounding last year.

Kendrick Perkins, According to one source, team head Danny Ainge traded Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson in Oklahoma City to forward Jeff Green and center Nenad Krstic. In a separate deal, the Celtics also raised recruits Luke Harangody and Semih Erden for a proposed second round. This agreement is about compensation for the file space veteran free agents who are supposed to be redeemed from their contracts, including Troy Murphy. The Celtics have also traded Marquis Daniels to Sacramento for money. Close to the situation said the Celtics [team stats] sent Kendrick Perkins [stats] in Oklahoma City in a deal for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic.

Another source says Nate Robinson is also part of the package. And it must be a quiet trade deadline for the Celtics. Not one to sit idly, the Chief Danny Ainge would have pulled the trigger trade. The biggest move sends Perkins and Robinson in Oklahoma City for the front and green center Krstic. There are also reports that C will receive a first-round pick in 2012 in the case, which originally belonged to the Clippers in Los Angeles. Robinson was acquired in a trade deadline deal with the Knicks last year in exchange for Eddie House. Robinson has been hot and cold during his time with the C’s, but provided a valuable offensive spark on the bench last series.

Not surprisingly, Robinson took to Twitter after word came out of the trade. He first tweeted:

“All I can say is wowzers.” Followed shortly by:

“Will miss all my fans in Boston, I love y’all, u guys showed me love, E. House shoes difficult to fill and you all did (easy) for me to fill em.” Green is the return key part in the transaction. The 6-foot-9 is averaging 15.2 points and .6 rebounds for the Thunder this season. The product of Georgetown was selected fifth in the draft by the Celtics, and then was treated that night as part of the package, which included the C Ray Allen. Green will be a restricted free agent this summer.

Nenad Krstic, The Boston Celtics ended a shift just to the NBA from 3 pm trade target, supportive to trade Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson Oklahoma City Thunder Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic, according to ESPN.
