Itunes.com/download, Google DNS is to stroll online downloads on both Apple TV and iTunes. After receiving many complains of extremely long download time, it was believed that there could be a problem with Apple’s server, Akamai Content Delivery Network. However, the problem was later identified as Google DNS.
Google DNS was launched a year ago. It came as a service free for those who use their own DNS servers IPS. When launched, it promised and delivered a highly secure and fast service from the SPI used previously. After the hype has been created, billions of users all started using the address of the DNS server to resolve the same domain names. This disorder rooted not only for iTunes and Apple TV, but also for other media streaming or download service that uses a similar strategy to EUR for downloads.

However, Google has provided a list of instructions on how to configure Google DNS services, which can be used for reducing the original DNS settings. Users with wireless base stations or other devices with network settings configured statically (like Apple TV) should verify that their network devices are using the local DNS addresses from their ISP, rather than Google DNS if slow downloads media is a problem.
