# Darren Bravo is the second West Indian player to amass 400 runs or more in a three-Test series against India in India – 404 at an average of 67.33. Jimmy Adams was the first to achieve the distinction, managing 520 runs (ave.173.33) in the 1994-95 series. His tally included two hundreds and two fifties.

# With a convincing 2-0 series triumph, India, for the first time, have registered four consecutive series
wins over West Indies – their previous three series victories were 2-0 in 2002-03 in India; 1-0 in 2006 and 1-0 in 2011, both in the West Indies.

# West Indies have not won a series overseas during the last 15 years against a strong nation – their only victories being against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Their last series win away from home against a major side was by 1-0 against New Zealand in February 1995.

# Bravo became the sixth batsman overall to aggregate 400 runs in a three-Test series against India in India. Besides Adams and Bravo, Australia’s Matthew Hayden and three Pakistanis – Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq and Inzamam-ul-Haq have accomplished the feat. Hayden had managed 549 at an average of 109.80 in the 2000-01 series in India – the most by a visiting batsman in a three-Test series in India.

# The top six batsmen in terms of run-aggregate in the series are – Bravo (404), Rahul Dravid (319), VVS Laxman (298), Virender Sehwag (245), Kirk Edwards (227) and Sachin Tendulkar (218).

# Pragyan Ojha (6/47) has produced his career-best figures in a Test innings, obliterating the 6 for 72 at the Feroz Shah Kotla in the just concluded series.

# Ojha, for the first time, has bagged the first five wickets to fall in a Test innings.

# Ojha, for the first time in a Test series, has captured 20 wickets at an impressive average of 22.50.

# Ojha, with his excellent performance in the series, has improved his Test record – 62 wickets in 14 Tests at an average of 34.62, including two five-wicket hauls.
