Medicare Premiums 2012Medicare Premiums 2012, Medicare premiums are set up – in about a month and 10 – for most beneficiaries in 2012. These higher Medicare premiums will eat in and 39 extra a month that the average Social Security beneficiary is expected cost of living adjustment next year.
That did not last long. About 55 million Social Security beneficiaries will receive their first increase in benefits next year since 2009 – a 3.6 percent raise. But the increase in Medicare premiums could erase part of it.
For some, the increase in Medicare Part B premiums could destroy as much as a quarter of the increase in Social Security, according to projections by the administrators who oversee the programs.

Medicare is expected to announce 2012 the premiums for Part B of next week. The premiums, which cover doctor visits, are automatically deducted from monthly Social Security payments.

The Social Security Administration announced the wage increase Wednesday, with some comfort to millions of retirees and people with disabilities, many who have seen their retirement accounts shrink, at home and drop off your values pocket medical expenses increased years since their last raise.
