IKEA High Chair Recall, IKEA is recalling about 169,000 of its ANTILOP High Chairs after the company received reports of its seat restraints popping open unexpectedly, leading to the injuries of at least three children, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said today.

The recall, announced simultaneously in the U.S. and Canada, involves high chairs sold between August 2006 and January 2010 at IKEA stores. The chairs were either red, white or blue plastic with removable silver legs.

The Chinese-made high chairs sold for about $20. If you have one of the high chairs, stop using it until you contact IKEA and get and install a free replacement restraint.
