USA Women SoccerUSA Women Soccer, Dramatically the women’s USA soccer achieved a great victory over Brazil in the FIFA World Cup today. With the win under her belt, Team USA and entered the final four in the semifinals of the World Cup for women. U.S. Women took an early lead of 1-0 in the match, but the ladies of Brazil returned to tie the game on a controversial penalty. After making a stop, the U.S. goalkeeper Hope Solo was called upon to move off the line before the injection (which is very much in doubt, as a legitimate punishment) and gave Brazil another shot happened.

With Team USA to just 10 players, Brazil scored again to move to 2-1 on the United States. During the second minute of play for three more time, Team USA scored a spectacular goal off a header from Abby Wambach to tie the game 2-2.

It all came down to a shootout tiebreaker to determine the winner. Perhaps the most appropriate, it was Hope Solo, who keeps one of the six shots of the Brazilians, then Ali Krieger who completed the sixth shot 6 shots fired by U.S. team to the party with a tiebreak at 6-5.

Now the U.S. women’s team football team is playing only one game in the final game in the world of women in the FIFA World Cup in Germany. Today’s game will be re-broadcast on ESPN 2 at midnight Eastern tonight for those who want to see it again.
