Homemade Christmas Gifts, Christmas is fast approaching and we’ve already given you details of the 2011 NORAD Santa Tracker and rounded up some of the best selections of Christmas kid’s coloring printables. Now we want to turn our attention to kid’s crafts for Christmas, some of which could be given as homemade gifts. We’ve rounded up some of the very best selections of kid’s crafts for Christmas and hopefully there’s something for everyone.

Nothing will keep the children entertained as much as making things for Christmas and if they can actually give gifts that they’ve handmade themselves that will delight the kids as well as whoever receives them. Hit any of the following links to be taken directly to the Christmas craft pages.

A really good variety of homemade Christmas gifts can be found at familyfun.go.com and at the link you’ll find various categories one of which is Gifts Kids Can Make. Even the youngest will be able to make some of these and they include such delights as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Handprint, a Merry Christmouse, Bookmark Gift Tags and more. Each item has a set of materials needed, an illustration and also step-by-step instructions so it really is difficult to go wrong. There’s also a section on homemade Gifts for Teachers.

Another useful site is marthastewart.com and here you’ll find a slideshow of 49 Kid’s Christmas Crafts, many of which would make lovely gifts. For example there are No-Melt Snowmen, Christmas Handkerchiefs (a great idea for grandparents), Candy Jars, Snow Globes and Hand Cookies and that’s just a few of the very comprehensive selection.

Over on amazingmoms.com there are more great Christmas Crafts ideas. You can find out about Tote Bag Craft, Angel Ornament Craft, Christmas Placecards Craft, Gift Box Ornaments, Penguin Pal Craft and much more. When you click on the links for the individual ideas they are rated in difficulty and by age and also give approximate times so you don’t bite off more than you can chew. Also there are step-by-step instructions with pictures along the way so that you can check your attempt is heading in the right direction!

Our last selection comes from kaboose.com which has a wonderful choice of Christmas Crafts. This link will give you craft ideas for Decorating the Tree, Homemade Ornaments, Homemade Gifts and Top Christmas Crafts for Kids. The latter includes such ideas as a Homemade Hair Clip for Christmas, Christmas Cookie Gift Bags, a Homemade Christmas Tree Card and Reindeer Ornament Craft. Again these include difficulty ratings, a list of exactly what you’ll need for each item and full instructions.
