Travel Weather ForecastTravel Weather Forecast, Don’t look for a whole lot of sun today, even though the soaking rain has cleared out. We will sit stuck under the clouds for most of the day. You can expect a few peeks of sun. Friday will stay cool and dry with highs topping out near 60 degrees.

Look for the cooler pattern to stay with us right through the Christmas holiday weekend. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 50s each day during this time period.

The storm system that’s bringing the snow over New Mexico will roll into our area by late Friday night/early Saturday morning. That means the clouds hang with us and our next chilly rain event sets up pretty much all day on Saturday (Christmas Eve). Last-minute shoppers you’ve been warned, your shopping adventure will be wet!

Santa and his reindeer will encounter scattered showers on their trip into town! We keep a 50 percent chance for showers on Saturday night (Christmas Eve) and a 20 percent chance for rain during the pre-dawn hours of Sunday (Christmas Day). The kiddos should be able to get outside and play with their new toys by the late morning and by the afternoon the sun will return. Either way, let’s hope Rudolph’s bright nose can help navigate the way through the showers!
