Heidi Montag Spencer Pratt $10 Million

Heidi Montag Spencer Pratt $10 Million, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt might be back together but that doesn’t mean all is right in the land of Speidi.

In fact, things are so bleak for the former reality stars that they may file for bankruptcy, according to Life & Style.

So how did things get to be so bad?

Well, blowing $10 million certainly doesn’t help.

After living a life of luxury, which included laying out cash for a home in Malibu, fancy cars and private jets, as well as financing Montag’s “music career,” the two have not only been left penniless, they also owe $2 million in taxes.

And, they’re homeless. Or so they claim.

“We were immature, worrying too much about the famous part instead of the actual business part,” Pratt tells the mag. “In hindsight, we shouldn’t have spent any of our money. We should have been low-key and saved.”

With “The Hills” off the air, Pratt says he’s “looked into unemployment checks.”

“We thought ‘The Hills’ was going to be like [the original] ‘90210’ and we’d have another five to 10 years,” he explains. “The ratings were consistent. But we never saw ‘Jersey Shore’ coming. Before, TV audiences were fine with seeing us all argue, but now they want you to punch one another in the face and hook up with three different people. Our cast was a bit boring and snoozeworthy in comparison. No wonder we got canceled.”

Montag, whose numerous plastic surgeries resulted in high medical bills, adds that, “At our lowest point, I considered posing for nude pictures in Playboy,” but Pratt’s parents convinced her not to and promised them they could live in their guesthouse.

Pratt’s parents, whom the reality star says are his “lifeline,” are even helping them out with food purchases – to a point.

“Spencer’s parents go to the grocery store for us once a week,” Montag says, “and that’s all we get.”

But the pair insists you needn’t shed a tear over their self-inflicted troubles.

Heidi Montag And Spencer Pratt

Heidi Montag And Spencer Pratt, Spencer Pratt tried to make amends with Lauren Conrad on her 26th birthday via Twitter Wednesday, but the Paper Crown designer isn’t listening.

“Lauren has moved on way past the drama of the show,” a source close to Conrad tells Us Weekly. “She’s focusing on her career and barely has time to interact with the people she actually likes, so she’s not really going to get back in touch with Spencer or anything like that.”

The source adds that “in this case, like others, she’s going to continue to do what works best with Spencer and ignore him.”

Pratt, meanwhile, says he doesn’t “have a hatchet to bury” with his former costar, who he frequently butted heads with on The Hills. (Pratt is the primary reason Conrad and former roommate Heidi Montag, 25, no longer speak.)

“I know we had our differences, but the fact is that Lauren was a big part of our lives, both personally and professionally, and after all this time, what point would there be in being angry?” Pratt, 28, tells Us. “I wish her nothing but the best in everything she does.”

Conrad, who flew to New York City on business Thursday, doesn’t think Twitter is the appropriate place for Pratt to ask forgiveness.

“Lauren loves using Twitter to interact with her fans and promote her brands,” the source explains, “but obviously she doesn’t think it’s an effective way to apologize or try to mend bridges.”
