Halle Berry Stalker, A Commerce man accused of stalking actress Halle Berry pleaded no contest on Thursday, the District Attorney’s Office announced.

Deputy District Attorney Wendy Segall of the Target Crimes Division said Richard Anthony Franco, 28, pleaded to one count of stalking before Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Dennis Landin.

Franco was immediately sentenced to five years probation, 386 days in county jail, and one year in psychological counseling. A 10-year criminal protective order also was imposed.

Franco, who was in custody for 193 days, received credit today for the entirety of his county jail term. He was sentenced to time served and will not serve any additional time in county jail.

One count of first-degree residential burglary was dismissed at sentencing, under the terms of a negotiated settlement.

Franco was charged in July 2011 for allegedly showing up several times at Berry’s Hollywood Hills home. He was arrested after she reported the presence of a possible burglar, according to police.
