Comedian Dies, The world just lost a few laughs. Comedian Greg Giraldo died at the age of 44. The comedian was hospitalized Saturday after an accidental overdose in New Jersey, which is not thought to be a suicide attempt.

Comedy Central issued the following statement regarding the passing Giraldo: “The tragic news of Greg’s passing hits us very, very hard Greg has been a close family member of Comedy Central for years, the injection of energy and sense of humor in lots of projects .. The comedy community lost a brother today. Our thoughts are with his family. ”

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Giraldo family and friends, too. He will be sorely missed.

Greg Giraldo Death, For now, all the fans of Howard Stern Show know about the curse of the death of Stern on vacation. If you are not familiar with it, most times the Howard Stern Show is on vacation, celebrity, celebrities and many die. The latest edition of the curse was the triple shock of Gary Coleman, Dennis Hopper and Rue McClanahan.

Recently, there seems to be a new trend of Stern-related … or should I say, damn. Comedians with strong connections to the Howard Stern program running on some bad luck, and in some cases, death.

The most recent case is the death of comedian Greg Giraldo, who has made several appearance on Howard Stern Show, and even participated in the Stern Show Staff dell’Abate Gary roast. Greg Howard talked about this morning’s program and how his death was attributed to an overdose of prescription drugs. Not appear that his death was a suicide. He also played some clips of Greg and mentioned that Greg was depressed and had 4 children.

We need not look far to find another victim of the curse Stern stand-up … Comedian Robert “Bob” Schimmel met his demise earlier this month in a car accident. Bob had been a fairly regular guest on Howard’s show and had even worked with him in the past about a TV deal that failed.

If you are a regular on the Stern fan, then you know that Artie Lange test everything well. Artie tried to commit suicide in December 2009 and only now is getting on its feet again.

Greg Fitzsimmons, Lisa Lampanelli and Gilbert Gottfried … you better watch your ass!

As Greg Giraldo, can leave their condolences on his Facebook page. Greg was a judge on “Last Comic Standing” on NBC in season 7 and was the headliner at Comedy Central’s Indecision ’08 Tour. The next clip was Gary roast:
