Georgia State Football, We have our work for us, no less … Georgia Tech will present a dramatic play style that makes it difficult for any opponent. It’s like the preparation of some of the biggest teams Bethune-Cookman, souped several times. We face a well-oiled machine … Will be important for our offense to go out and play well, do a little something to keep the ball away from Georgia Tech’s offensive Otherwise, it could be a long day for us.

According to Coley Harvey, State of South Carolina is the first Historically Black College of Georgia Tech who has known in the field. The Bulldogs will play their second ACC game ever outside the conference (Clemson in 2008). The Bulldogs only played six games against IA opponents all time. Georgia Tech will be the seventh.

SC State offense
South Carolina State is not your typical loser I-AA. The Bulldogs have won two titles MEAC conference and received 24 of the 30 first place votes in the preseason SBN Black College Football Poll.

The Bulldogs are a crime in the top 25 I-AA footballs MEAC averaging 30.4 more points per game in 2009. The team has a balanced offense as he threw the football around 44% of the time and scored 51% of TD through the air. Their passing offense was good enough to lead the MEAC in percentage of completions, yards per game, and overall efficiency. The triggerman for this crime is Malcolm Long (# 7), a 6’3 “257 lbs dressed giant quarterback. Long led the MEAC in passer rating and was one of the most efficient passers in the I-AA football last season.

2009 Long partners in crime have graduated since lost top receivers Terrance Smith, Matt Washington, and receive MEAC champion Oliver Young to graduation (the three combined for 135 receptions in 2009). Young is making his home with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent. The body receives 2010 will be led by Richard Christie (24 sacks last season).

William Ford was the property of new Bulldogs in 2009 and set the MEAC’s all-time career rushing record. He is gone and it represented about 44% of the carries last season. Look for Citadel to transfer Asheton Jordan and Chris Massey fullback to carry the bulk of the load jackets.

SC STATE FOR DEFENCE
SC State’s defense gave a very disciplined school in 2009, which intercepted a MEAC-leading 18 interceptions returned for touchdowns in April. Unfortunately, the prediction of Winfield, a low threat level for the Bulldogs defensive backfield is pretty accurate. Secondary outcomes only one of four starters, while the three best tacklers in the profitability of SC State defense as a linebacker on the 2010 Bulldog defense. The defensive line is relatively veteran but does not provide a defensive line whose average weight is 250 pounds ~ unsettle a lot to our game execution.
